Privacy at Dayglade

Privacy Policy

Dayglade offers optional activities for general wellbeing. This policy explains how the website and the Dayglade Android app handle information, including when you contact support.

Effective date: October 6, 2026

Developer/publisher: Peakmind

Privacy contact: support@dayglade.com

What Dayglade does not ask for

Dayglade does not require an app account or ask you to type your thoughts, keep a journal, or submit health records. Dayglade’s app code includes no advertising or analytics services. The local app settings described below are not sent to a Dayglade app server.

The website and web app

Information kept in your browser

The web app saves your background preference and the last displayed scene in your browser’s local storage. This remembers a fixed view or avoids immediately repeating a view when you choose “Surprise me.” This information remains until you change it or clear the website’s data in your browser.

The web app does not write activity history or unfinished sessions to persistent storage. Your action category, current activity, timer, and completion state are kept in the open page. Closing or reloading the page starts a fresh activity session. There is no web-app account or in-app reset button.

Website requests, cookies, and hosting

Visiting dayglade.com uses a network connection to load the website and its images. OpenAI Sites and its hosting/network providers, including Cloudflare, may process technical visit information such as IP addresses, browser/device details, requested pages, timestamps, and security or diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the website. The hosting service may also use cookies or similar technologies.

These hosting records are separate from the settings held in your browser. Their handling is governed by the relevant provider policies, including the OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Optional browser assistants

If you use a supported browser assistant, it may read the current activity, category, and timer and operate the app’s visible controls through your browser. The assistant provider’s privacy practices apply. This feature does not ask you to enter your thoughts or add a Dayglade telemetry service.

The current Android app

The Android app is separate from the website. Its activities and nature images are included in the installed app and work offline. It stores preferences and current session state in app-local storage so it can remember your choices and recover an unfinished session.

The current Android app does not request internet access, send these settings or session state to the developer, or provide app-operated cloud sync. Android app backup is disabled in its configuration. It has no account, journal entry field, advertising SDK, or analytics service.

You can clear saved preferences and session state using the app’s reset option, Android’s app-data controls, or by uninstalling the app. There is no developer-held server copy of that local app information to retrieve or delete. This section applies only to the Android app.

When you contact support

If you choose to email support@dayglade.com, your message can contain sender details and any content or attachments you include. Support messages received by Peakmind are used by the developer to respond and handle your request. Please do not send medical records, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Support email is routed using Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google-hosted mailbox. Peakmind’s owner handles support and privacy requests. Email delivery and storage providers process messages under their own policies, including the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. Support correspondence is separate from the information stored inside the app.

Correspondence is kept as needed to respond to and manage the request. There is no fixed automatic deletion schedule. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing the same address; the owner can handle those requests. Service-provider logs or backups may be subject to the providers’ own retention practices.

Your choices and device security

Local information relies on your browser’s or operating system’s storage protections. Protect an unlocked or shared device appropriately and keep its software updated. No website or device-storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Other services and updates

App stores, device operating systems, external websites, and email services may process information under their own policies. This policy describes Dayglade’s behavior and the website/support services identified here; it does not claim that those other services process no information.

If Dayglade’s information handling changes, this policy and its effective date will be updated. Questions can be sent to support@dayglade.com.

Dayglade is for general wellbeing. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a medical condition. Its optional activities do not replace professional healthcare.
